How it works:
When used with Nautilus 10, 30 or 45 fountain pump, the pump pushes water into the bottom intake of the drum.
Water is sprayed to the top of the pressure fit lid and then forced downward through the filter pad an d12" of granulate.
Beneficial bacteria livign in the granulate consume the pond impurities as they pass through.
Water returns to the pond from the bottom of the drum by the way of stream or waterfall.
- Filter Granulate contains special minerals that provide habitat for bacteria that clarify the water.
